YoYo farmer harvests carrots to eat

YoYo, the cheerful young farmer, woke up with the morning sun shining across his small garden. His favorite crop had finally grown—bright orange carrots hidden beneath the soil. He stretched, put on his straw hat, and grabbed his basket. Today was carrot harvest day!

YoYo walked to the garden, humming happily. The green tops wiggled gently in the breeze, almost saying, “Pick me!” One by one, YoYo pulled the carrots from the ground. They popped out like surprises—long, short, curly, and straight. Each one made him giggle.

His goats watched from the fence, curious and excited. YoYo brushed dirt off the first carrot and gave it a bite. Crunch! It was sweet, fresh, and perfect. “Mmm, delicious!” he said, and the goats nodded as if agreeing.

He filled his basket quickly, then sat under a tree to enjoy his snack. But YoYo wasn’t selfish. He sliced some carrots and called his chickens, ducks, and goats. They rushed toward him happily, enjoying the treat. The animals chewed loudly while YoYo laughed.

Later, he took a few carrots to his neighbor, Grandma Lin, who couldn’t farm anymore. She thanked him warmly and told him, “Sharing makes food even tastier.” That made YoYo smile wider.

Back home, he washed the last carrots and cooked a simple pot of carrot soup. The aroma filled the air, attracting all the animals again. YoYo shared the warm soup with everyone, enjoying the peaceful moment.

As the sun set, YoYo looked at his empty basket and full belly. “Carrots taste best when shared,” he whispered. With happy animals around him and a cozy evening ahead, YoYo fell asleep dreaming of more harvest days to come.
