Early in the morning, the farm was unusually quiet. Mom had just cleaned the animal shed and laid out fresh straw for the goats to rest on. Everything looked neat and comfortable, like a cozy little bedroom for the animals. But no one expected what would happen next.
One curious goat wandered away from the shed and slowly made its way toward the house. With soft steps and a very innocent face, it slipped through the open door and began exploring. CUTIS and Buem were busy playing nearby when they suddenly noticed the goat walking straight into the living room.
Before they could stop it, the goat jumped onto what it thought was the perfect “bed” — Mom’s freshly folded laundry piled neatly on the couch!
The goat happily circled twice, made itself comfortable, and plopped down right on the clothes. CUTIS froze in shock, while Buem stared wide-eyed at the unexpected guest. For a moment, they didn’t know whether to laugh or panic.

Just as they finished, Mom walked in. Seeing their guilty faces and messy hair, she instantly knew something had happened. After hearing the story, she couldn’t help but laugh at the silly situation.
