One sunny afternoon, CUTIS accidentally made a big mistake. While playing in the garden, CUTIS knocked over Mom’s favorite flower pot and made a huge mess. When Mom came outside and saw the broken pot and spilled soil, she crossed her arms and gave CUTIS that serious look. CUTIS instantly knew… Mom was not happy at all.
Feeling guilty and worried, CUTIS sat quietly under the tree, thinking very hard about how to say sorry in a special way. Suddenly, an idea popped into CUTIS’s clever little head — an apology tree! Without wasting any time, CUTIS rushed around the yard collecting things: a small plant, some loose soil, and even a tiny handmade sign.
CUTIS carefully dug a small hole, but instead of using proper tools, CUTIS used a coconut shell and bare hands, making the process extra funny to watch. Soil ended up everywhere — on CUTIS’s face, tail, and even head! Still, CUTIS worked seriously, gently placing the plant into the hole and patting the soil down with great pride.
The funniest part came when CUTIS tied a leaf to the plant with a string and scratched something on it: “Sorry Mom 💕.” CUTIS then stood beside the tiny tree, bowing deeply and pointing at it again and again, as if saying, “This tree is my apology!”
When Mom saw the scene, she tried very hard not to laugh. CUTIS looked so serious yet completely covered in dirt. Mom finally burst into laughter, her anger melting away instantly. She hugged CUTIS tightly and praised the sweet effort, explaining gently how to be more careful next time.
