It was a bright Saturday morning, and Lala was in a cheerful mood—until she walked into her room. Right there, in the corner, was a giant mountain of dirty clothes! Socks, shirts, towels—everything was piled high like a colorful volcano about to erupt.
Lala gasped dramatically. “Oh no! How did it get this bad?” she groaned, putting her paws on her hips. She poked the pile, and it toppled a little, making her wrinkle her nose. “Yuck! It even smells funny!”
Determined to fix the situation, Lala stormed into the living room, where Dad was relaxing with a cup of tea. “Dad!” she called, holding a shirt between two fingers. “We have a laundry emergency!”
Dad blinked in surprise. “A what?”
“A laundry emergency!” Lala repeated, pointing toward her room. “There’s a mountain of dirty clothes, and it’s driving me crazy!”
Dad tried not to laugh at her serious expression. “Alright, alright,” he said, setting his cup down. “Let’s tackle it together.”
Lala followed him back to the room, still frowning but secretly excited to help. Dad showed her how to separate colors, add detergent, and start the washing machine. “Now we wait,” he said, patting her head.
While the clothes spun around, Lala sat cross-legged, watching the bubbles form inside the washer. “It’s like magic!” she said in awe.
When everything was done, Dad and Lala hung the clean clothes outside to dry in the warm sunshine. The fresh smell filled the air, and Lala stretched proudly.
“See, Dad? I told you it was an emergency!” she said with a giggle.
Dad smiled. “And you handled it like a pro, Lala.”
Lala beamed, proud that her annoyance had turned into a fun, productive day with Dad.
