Lala has a swollen eye! Mom is worried and looks for the cause and treatment for her

One morning, Mom noticed something unusual about Lala. Her bright, playful eyes didn’t sparkle the same way. One of them was swollen and slightly red. Lala tried to act normal, but she kept rubbing her eye and blinking uncomfortably. Mom’s heart immediately filled with worry. What happened to her little girl?

Mom gently held Lala’s face and looked closely. The swelling wasn’t too big, but it was clear something was wrong. She carefully asked Lala what she had been doing the day before. Lala shyly admitted she had been playing outside in the garden, chasing butterflies and rolling on the grass. Mom began to wonder if dust, a tiny insect bite, or even pollen had irritated her eye.

Not wanting to take any risks, Mom washed her hands and softly cleaned around Lala’s eye with warm, clean water and a soft cloth. She reminded Lala not to rub it, even though it felt itchy. To reduce the swelling, Mom placed a cool compress gently over the eye. Lala sat quietly, trusting Mom completely.

Still concerned, Mom decided to observe her closely for the rest of the day. She checked if there were other symptoms like fever, severe pain, or discharge. Thankfully, Lala was still cheerful and active, just a little uncomfortable. Mom explained that sometimes swollen eyes can be caused by allergies, small scratches, or minor infections. If it didn’t improve, they would visit a doctor for proper medicine.

By evening, the swelling had gone down a little. Mom felt relieved but continued to care for Lala with love and patience. Lala learned an important lesson too — to be more careful while playing and to tell Mom right away when something feels wrong.
