Kaka the little monkey woke up early in the morning, stretching his tiny arms and blinking his big brown eyes. The first thing he thought about was Dad. He hadn’t seen his father since yesterday because Dad had gone out to gather food for the family. As soon as he heard Dad returning, Kaka rushed toward him with excitement sparkling in his eyes.
Dad barely stepped through the doorway before Kaka leapt into his arms, wrapping his little furry arms tightly around his father’s neck. The warm hug made Dad smile widely. Kaka cuddled close, burying his head into Dad’s shoulder as if he didn’t want to let go. It was clear he had missed his father so much.
Dad sat down on a wooden bench and stroked Kaka’s head gently. Kaka snuggled closer, his tail curling around Dad’s waist. The bond between them was full of love and comfort. Dad laughed softly and said, “Did you miss me, little one?” Kaka nodded, tightening his hug even more.
Every moment felt precious. Kaka held onto Dad as if time could stand still. They spent the morning together, playing, grooming each other, and sharing treats Dad had brought back. Kaka never wandered far from his father’s side. Wherever Dad sat, Kaka climbed onto his lap, leaned against his chest, and enjoyed every second of closeness.
Other monkeys watched with smiles, admiring the pure affection. Their cuddling reminded everyone how important family love is. Before nap time, Kaka curled into Dad’s arms again, eyes closing peacefully. Dad kissed his head and whispered, “Rest well, my child.”
That simple cuddle—filled with warmth, longing, and happiness—was Kaka’s favorite way to say, “I love you, Dad.”
