One bright morning, Detective CUTIS proudly parked his shiny red supercar outside the house. It was his favorite treasure — sleek, fast, and polished to perfection. He had just finished cleaning it and was planning to take Buem for a fun ride around the neighborhood.
But when CUTIS returned a few minutes later… the supercar was gone.
His eyes widened in shock. “This is a serious case!” he declared dramatically. Buem gasped and quickly put on his tiny detective hat. The two partners immediately got to work. Detective CUTIS carefully examined the ground for clues. He noticed faint tire marks leading toward the garden path. “Interesting…” he whispered thoughtfully.
They followed the tracks, asking everyone along the way if they had seen anything suspicious. The chickens shook their heads. The puppies barked excitedly but gave no useful information. Just when they were about to feel discouraged, Buem spotted something shiny near the bushes — a small piece of red ribbon from the car’s antenna.
“This way!” Buem shouted.
The clues led them behind the storage shed, where they heard a soft giggle. Slowly, CUTIS peeked around the corner — and there it was! His supercar was hidden under a big blanket. Standing beside it was their playful friend who had “borrowed” it for a pretend race without asking.
Detective CUTIS crossed his arms, trying to look serious, but he couldn’t hide his smile. “Next time, you must ask permission,” he said firmly but kindly. The friend apologized, explaining that the car looked too cool to resist.
Case closed! CUTIS and Buem learned that even in mysterious situations, staying calm and working together can solve any problem. And from that day on, the supercar was always parked in a safer spot — with Detective CUTIS keeping a much closer eye on it!
