CUTIS took goat ran away to pick up Yen Nhi and be punished

That morning, CUTIS woke up with a bold idea in his little head. Yen Nhi had gone to school earlier, and CUTIS missed her terribly. He looked around and saw the goat peacefully chewing grass near the fence. Suddenly, CUTIS’s eyes lit up—what if he took the goat to go pick up Yen Nhi himself?

Without thinking twice, he climbed onto the goat’s back and gave a cheerful tap. The goat, surprised but gentle, began trotting down the path. CUTIS felt like a hero on a mission. Villagers they passed couldn’t help laughing as they saw the tiny boy riding a goat proudly, calling out, “I’m going to get Yen Nhi!”

When he reached the school gate, Yen Nhi’s classmates burst into giggles. Yen Nhi was shocked and embarrassed but also touched. “CUTIS! Why did you come here like this?” she asked, trying not to laugh. CUTIS grinned proudly and replied, “I miss you. I come to take you home!”

But trouble awaited them. Dad had been searching everywhere, worried sick. When he saw CUTIS returning on the goat with Yen Nhi beside him, Dad’s face showed both relief and disappointment. “CUTIS… you can’t run away like that. It’s dangerous,” Dad said firmly.

CUTIS lowered his head, knowing he had scared everyone. Dad didn’t punish him harshly—just made him sit beside the goat stall and reflect on his actions. Yen Nhi sat with him, comforting him gently.

Later, Dad lifted CUTIS onto his lap. “I know you love your sister,” he said softly, “but next time, you must tell us.”

CUTIS nodded, snuggled against Dad, and promised to behave. Despite the trouble, everyone secretly smiled—the little adventure had shown just how big CUTIS’s heart truly was.
