It was a bright and cheerful afternoon when Bibi and Lala went outside to play in the garden. The two were chasing butterflies, laughing, and running freely across the field. Everything seemed perfectly peaceful—until suddenly, Lala stepped on a patch of loose soil. Before she could react, the ground beneath her collapsed, and Lala slipped into a deep hole hidden by tall grass.
“LALA!” Bibi shouted in shock. She rushed to the edge of the hole and saw Lala sitting at the bottom, frightened but unharmed. Lala reached her tiny hands upward, whimpering softly. Bibi’s heart pounded, but she knew she had to stay calm.
“Don’t worry, I’m here! I’ll help you,” Bibi reassured her.
Bibi quickly looked around for something she could use. She found a strong tree branch nearby and dragged it toward the hole. Holding one end firmly, she lowered the branch down to Lala. But Lala was too scared to climb up by herself.
Thinking fast, Bibi lay down on her stomach, stretching her arm as far as she could. “Hold my hand, Lala! I’ve got you!” she called gently.
Slowly, Lala reached up and grabbed Bibi’s hand. Bibi pulled with all her strength, inch by inch. Her arms trembled, but she didn’t give up. Finally, with one big heave, she lifted Lala out of the hole and hugged her tightly.
Lala clung to Bibi, shaking a little, but safe. Bibi gently brushed the dirt off her and checked for injuries. Then the two walked back home together, Bibi holding Lala’s hand the whole way.
What began as a scary moment became a powerful reminder of their bond. Bibi had shown true bravery—proving that love gives even the smallest hero incredible strength.
