It was a warm afternoon, and Lala had just finished playing in the garden. Her little tummy growled loudly—grrrr! She rubbed her belly and sighed. “Oh no… I’m so hungry!”
She peeked into the kitchen but saw that Mom and Dad were busy outside. On the counter sat a basket of golden corn, freshly picked and ready to cook. Lala’s eyes sparkled with an idea. “Hmm… maybe I can ask someone else for help!”
Turning around, she spotted the cameramen setting up for filming. With her most adorable smile, she walked over and said, “Excuse me, kind uncles… can you help me cook some corn? I’m really, really hungry!”
The cameramen looked at each other, amused by her polite and clever request. One chuckled, “Of course, Chef Lala! Let’s make something delicious.”
Excited, Lala jumped up and clapped her hands. She pointed seriously toward the kitchen like a little director. “Okay, let’s boil the water first! And don’t forget the salt—just a little!”
The cameramen followed her instructions, laughing as Lala supervised every step. She stood on a small stool, peeking over the pot as the corn began to simmer. “Mmm… it smells so good already!” she said, her tail wagging with delight.
When the corn was finally cooked, the cameramen placed a steaming cob on a plate and handed it to her. Lala took a big bite, her cheeks puffing up as she chewed happily.
“This is perfect! You guys are the best!” she said, giving a thumbs-up to the camera.
Everyone laughed, and Lala proudly posed with her corn. “Remember,” she said with a grin, “if you’re smart, you always find a way to get a snack!”
