The morning sun peeked through the curtains, gently waking up little Lala. She stretched her arms, rubbed her sleepy eyes, and suddenly remembered—Dad had an important workday today!
“Hmm… I have to help Dad get ready!” she said determinedly. Without wasting a moment, Lala jumped out of bed and scurried to the living room.
First, she spotted Dad’s briefcase lying on the sofa. Carefully, she opened it and checked inside. “Notebook? Check! Pen? Check! Snacks? Hmm… maybe I’ll add one banana for extra energy!” she giggled, slipping a banana inside.
Then, she tiptoed to the front door and placed Dad’s shoes neatly in line. “He’ll be so happy when he sees everything ready,” she said proudly.
When Dad came out of his room, already dressed for work, he was surprised to see everything perfectly prepared. “Wow, Lala! You did all this?” he asked, smiling. Lala nodded shyly. “Yes, Daddy! I want you to have a good day.”
Dad patted her head lovingly and said, “You’re such a thoughtful little girl!”
After waving goodbye, Lala decided to take care of herself too. She brushed her teeth, combed her hair carefully, and even picked a cute outfit from her drawer. Then, she made herself a simple breakfast—warm milk and fruit—just like Mom taught her.
As she sat by the window enjoying her meal, Lala smiled with satisfaction. Helping Dad made her heart feel warm and happy.
When Mom walked in and saw everything, she couldn’t help but laugh. “Our little Lala is growing up so fast!”
Lala grinned proudly and said, “Because I’m a big girl who takes care of everyone… and myself too!”
It was the perfect start to a peaceful, loving morning.
